Tophouse Historic Hotel Bed and Breakfast is a Category A Historic Place listed with The New Zealand Historic Places Trust. Built in 1887 as a hotel in the wild mountains of New Zealand, Tophouse is a solid mud (called “cob”) building with six guestrooms and an open fire burning continuously since 1988.
In addition to the main house bed and breakfast, the property offers Mountainview Chalets, two bedroom self contained accommodation housing 4 to 6 people each. Pets and children welcome.
