Anne welcomes you to her family's 1930's registered Historic House, a stunning and unique, native woods example. Still mainly as original with modern facilities, Te Maunga sits on a knoll, within a rambling garden, giving commanding views over Nelson City, sea and Valleys, with only 5 minutes to downtown. Enjoy your special continental style breakfast including local fruits, yoghurts, cheeses , home-made breads, and preserves, or maybe your aperitif, while taking in the amazing views. Self-catered unit is next door! NZQA Food safety Cert.

The home! The views! The breakfast! All perfect but the real jewell is meeting and visiting with Anne. What an interesting, kind, and helpful person. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. |

With my wife, we have very much enjoyed our stay at Te Mauga few weeks ago. This Historic house is a pure jewel and offers bedrooms with fantastic views on the city of Nelson and the hills. But all of this was nothing compared to the kindness and incredible sense of hospitality of our hostess. |

This accommodation was reserved for us by Sheryl of AA in Nelson. She was very helpful in finding the B&B for us. Anne of Te Maunga made our stay most pleasant. She is well travelled, knowledgable of NZ and is is enlightning to share with her. The view is exceptional. Super breakfast!! |

It made my brief stay in NZ memorable - stunning views, beautiful house, waking up to Tui song in the mornings, luscious breakfasts, and a thoughtful (and fascinating) host. A real treat and excellent value. |

Te Maunga in Nelson, hosted by world traveler and naturalist Anne Kolless, this world class B&B offers a clean, comfortable, newly renovated private home on top of a hill. The view of the sea is spectacular, the gardens are lovingly nurtured, and Anne's cooking is fabulous! |
