Enjoy the sound of the beautiful Motueka River, which runs past our house. Step across the road for trout fishing, or a refreshing swim. Come "home" for a delicious meal made with our home grown organic fruit and veges. Enjoy the garden with its pizza oven, fish pond, ducks and the wood fired bush bath. Comments from last years visitors book say it all: This is by far our favourite B&B/homestay weâ??ve stayed at in NZ. Wonderful place and location. What more could a traveller ask for. Blissful spot! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with very thoughtful hosts and the best bed weâ??ve met in NZ. A good laugh. Wonderful food, delightful company, and cozy ambience. This whole valley has a very peaceful re-centering feel. See you again. There are places and there are PLACES and this is a GREAT PLACE! Scenic splendour, great hospitality and peaceful ambience are rich ingredients that match the stunning home cooking â?? long live the â??Brown Troutâ?? Exploring the area has been the highlight of our trip. Sand sea followed by a 360 degree view from mount Arthur. Such variety and warm hospitality! The room, view, food and hospitality were unforgettable. Wish some of our friends were with us. A feeling of welcome surrounds this lively family home. What an idyllic setting. Great food and conversation. Mt Arthur was a spectacular hike and a feast for the eyes (and soul). Until now we have been missing the best. Great time with lovely people. Food was outstanding. Hope we will return. Wonderful stay, luxurious rooms and delicious food.

Good food, great welcome, stunning scenery - New Zealanders always like that. But the invite to choir practice, the vocal training, the in depth after dinner conversation discussion, great fun, great people - GREAT PLACE.

Very welcoming and relaxed hosts, comfy beds, quiet, Christmas dinner was specially catered for both vegetarians, organic home grown produce (in our family of four) and meat eaters. Fabulous breakfasts with garden raspberries. We all said we like to go back.
