The gardens were beautiful. The trout streams wonderful and David & Heather run a lovely B&B with delicious meals . Our best stay in NZ.

Doone Cottage Homestay has the most beautiful views and gardens, especially from the Mountain Chalet! Glen made us a home-cooked "Thanksgiving" dinner that was absolutely delicious. Glen and Stan were very friendly and helpful, with welcome sight-seeing suggestions. We hope to return some day to New Zealand, and will definitely try to stay at Doone Cottage again!

Warm welcome. Lovely people to converse with. Very comfortable beds and super shower. Delightfully situated house. Most interesting family who fed us well. We would happily return.
