We are a couple from Northern Italy, much travelled and keen on tramping, mountaineering and motorbiking.

We welcome you to our private hideaway and birdwatchers' paradise on the tidal estuary. Pleasant beach-walks at our door-steps, far enough from the noise of the main roads and yet only 5 mins drive to shops and restaurants. Or you can relax here after your exploring day, join us for dinner and taste our italian organic cuisine overlooking a beautiful sunset behind the mountains and enjoying Sandro huge collection of Jazz records.
The Abel Tasman NP is 20mins drive / pick-up and drop-off service to/from Marahau available; 45 mins drive to the Kahurangi NP and to Nelson city.

The Guest Accommodation includes one ensuite and private or shared-facilities with toilet room and bathroom each separate, located in the corridor nearby the bedrooms (maximum capacity 4-5 guests in the shared area).

We serve a generous Continental breakfast with organic home-made breads and jams, fresh fruit and juice, muesli and home-made yogurt.

As keen walkers and mountaineers we can give helpful hints to maximize your exploration of the area. We also offer guided walks thanks to Sandro's experience as geologist and to our interest in the local flora and fauna. Rock-climbing and Italian Language lessons by arrangements.
Water-Taxi ticketing service and Kayak Tours booking service available. We are conveniently located just around the corner from the reliable and well-known "Sea Kayak Company".
