We had a wonderful stay at the Stables. The house is situated in gorgeous grounds within walking distance of Abel Tasman NP, the room we had was comfortable and the breakfast excellent but most of all was how welcome George made us feel. He arranged kayaking for us and entertained us with his philosophy of life which is to be positive which George certainly is. Highly recommended.

Our overall satisfaction rating is 10 which is not included above. George is an exceptionally genial, helpful and generous host. He does things which go beyond expectations like bringing in our washing, offering morning tea, providing car wash facility, helpful information on places to visit. And a most interesting person to boot. We felt very comfortable at Abel Tasman Stables and George was a large part of our complete satisfaction. Highly recommended. 		(none)

George is a great host, very helpful in arranging Aqua Taxis for us, and a good source of information about Abel Tasman Park. The location was great, so close to the park. The rooms were large and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
