Enjoy your stay at our luxurious and exceptionally spacious two storey home located in rural Blenheim. Only 2km from the town centre, Green Gables is set in a tranquil, one acre landscaped garden and offers quiet, luxurious surroundings, although close to State Highway 1 and to town.

Guest accommodation comprises of three large bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Two of our rooms have queen - sized beds and the third has a double bed. All rooms are fully equipped with electric blankets, radio clocks, hair dryers and room heating and two rooms have glass doors that open onto private balconies affording panoramic views of Blenheim. An adjoining guest lounge has a small library and television set and there are additional TV sets in the queen rooms. Coffee and tea making facilities are available and you are invited to use the laundry, fax and email facilities if required.

For breakfast choose either a full, country-style cooked breakfast or a light continental breakfast or if you prefer a delectable combination of both, served with delicious home-made jams and preserves. Dinner is available by arrangement and features traditional New Zealand cuisine served with a complimentary drink.

We are horticulturists and grow cut flowers. Our ginger cat Sharky is visitor friendly and lives outside. Green Gables backs onto the picturesque Opawa river. In season this gentle river offers trout fishing, eeling and whitebaiting. A small rowing boat is available for your use at no extra charge.
