Luxury country living, short distance from Palmerston North, near Manawatu Gorge, below wind farm. 10km from Pacific College and 2km from Equestrian Centre. Excellent stop over en route to/from Wellington or East Coast. Our home is newly decorated, with antiques in a country traditional style surrounded by our garden. Sawmill on the property, coloured sheep, horses and calves. Manawatu River borders our property. It is our pleasure to provide home-cooked meals with some local produce. Directions: please phone. We were taking our international guest and his partner who had just spoken at the National Power Conference to look at the Windfarms. We chose Country Lane homestay because it was very close to the Windfarms. We weren't dissappointed, a lovely house and great bedrooms. Fay and Alan joined us for a typical NZ roast lamb meal, delicious, what a dessert, great dinner conversation. Breakfast was also great, delicious home preserved nectarines. You won't go away from here hungry.
