The Green House was a wonderful B & B - quiet, self contained, good views and wonderful breakfast which we had on the terrace overlooking the town. It is only a few minutes from the town up a steep hill, but well worth the walk. We would have stayed longer if we had more time. Will definitely stay there if we visit Napier again.BJ Glos April 09

Our hosts Ruth 7 Jeremy were fabulous - more like friends. We had lots of fun and laughter- felt very at home. We will certainly come back to Napier and use this B&B again! We will also recommend it to any friends who are thinking of coming.

What a fantastic place to stay! We stayed for two nights over labour weekend, and had a ball. The food was good, the rooms were comfortable, Ruth and Jerry are friendly, the place is child friendly. Every effort was made to make us all feel comfortable, and our hosts have excellent local knowledge. Even our very shy 20 month old warmed to Ruth and (especially) Jerry very quickly. We will be back. Paul, Irene, and Raiden

Due to a ferry cancellation I had to unexpectedly come in late & they were ver gracious about it. They also had excellent advise about restaurants & tours available. The accommodations were excellent & the breakfast included homemade bread!

We loved this place!! We arrived VERY late at night and Ruth made us feel very welcome. She also gave us some great 'local knowledge' about Napier and suggested some highlights of the area that we wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

Difficult to see how it would have been better. Accommodation and food was excellent and our host were able to achieve the time balance between friendleness & consideration on one hand and intrusive on the other.
