Having lived in some exciting countries around the world, we are delighted to have found and settled in Hawkes Bay. Turning off Roys Hill Rd on State Highway 50 into Cardoness Estate, guests will drive along a line of Paulonia trees and through the olive grove to approach the Lodge. Surrounded by vineyards, this well-designed property, set in 32 acres of land in the Ngatarawa triangle will provide peace and privacy for our guests. Magnificent views of the surrounding hills can be seen from every room, and quality beds, linen and furnishings will ensure our guests have a comfortable stay.

Climate Control throughout the house plus an open log fire in the lounge will allow comfort at all times of the year. All rooms have a private deck area, television and tea/coffee making facilities. A heated swimming pool, Petanque court and badminton net are all on site, and there are two golf courses within five minutes drive of the property. Also available in the area are cycle rides, scenic flights, Heritage trails and many more activities.

For the wine enthusiast five award winning wineries are within minutes drive, plus many others in the locality, and guided wine tours are available.

A 20-minute drive will take you to the Art Deco City of Napier, 10 minutes to visit the Farmers Market in Hastings, 17 minutes to find boutique shopping in Havelock North, and 30 minutes to beaches. A visit to the Gannet colony, or golf on the superb course at Cape Kidnappers is also within easy reach.
