Now retired and moved from our farm but still the same genuine and caring hospitality. Enjoy with us in a relaxed atmosphere in our extensive private garden, the wonderful views over vineyards in the Gimlett Gravels and Ngatarawa area, and to Havelock North hills in the distance. Comfortable beds with firm mattresses make for a good nights sleep (electric blankets for winter warmth). Sit and chat when time allows over a generous breakfast cooked or continental with homemade preserves and goodies - inside or alfresco. Dinner is available on request. Our interests include tramping, bushwalks, gardening, travel and genealogy. Having travelled extensively we do enjoy meeting local and overseas visitors. Let us advise you on all the wonderful things to see and do while in our lovely Hawkes Bay. There are many wineries close by with restaurants, Trips to the gannets, Orchard tours, Trout fishing, Golf courses, Panoramic views from Te Mata Peak, Havelock North with boutique shops and cafes and Napier the Art Deco City of the world are just a few. We can arrange tours for you too, and also advise you on your travel through NZ. After over 22 years of hosting we have an ever increasing circle of friends with many returning. Please read our guests comments on our B&B Book website. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool in summer and the tennis court. Dianne has a certificate in Homestay Management. We do look forward to meeting you, and our aim is to make your stay with us memorable. Arrive as a guest and leave as our friends. Easy access and plenty of parking.
No animals inside please.

Wonderful welcome on my husband's birthday. I had spoken to Diane earlier on the telephone and asked her for something a bit special for the birthday boy. She certainly obliged and I will never forget Keith taking us out into the garden and showing us the Southern Cross in night sky.

To celebrate our golden wedding anniversary my wife and I decided to have the honeymoon we could not afford in 1957. We chose "Grandvue" Country Stay, Hastings out of the Bed & Breakfast Book. We could not have chosen better and would rate them at 12/10! Dianne and Keith are tops in every part of the business and we now have the very best of new friends. An English couple who arrived on our fourth day of stay tried to figure out how many years Dianne, Keith and ourselves had been friends and they decided it must have be about 30 to 35 years. Considering we met our hosts for the first time three days earlier I think that says it all.

This was my first experience of a homestay/bnb. If Dianne & Keith are anything to go by, then NZ BnB is in good stead. A warm friendly homestay with that extra bit of care and attention. Hope you have a good year you two.... :>) Thanks a bundle.

Dear Dianne and Keith

Thank you very much for making part of our holidays in New Zealand very pleasant.
We have now returned to Denmark. The weather here is very cold, with temperatures down to -15 degrees celcius. We have a lot of snow and the weather forecast for this afternoon promises another snow storm. Quite a dramatic change from the nice climate in New Zealand!
