We have greatly enjoyed the time in NZ, this has been largely due to the outstanding facilites at Thorold. Such accomodation provides a place for rest,fun and reflection.This combined with the hospitality Gary and Wendy have shown us has made this holiday one we will always remember with affection. Thank-you We recommed Thorold without hesitation.

Very warm and welcoming stay with Barbara and Leo. Lovely home and hospitality, and our 11year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed her early morning start to help Leo with the feeding out. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very friendly and welcoming.We were there less than 24hours with no expectation of having time to get to know and enjoy the local area but Barrie was so helpful that we managed to take in some local history and visit some landmarks. We enjoyed the jacuzzi bath, a greats night sleep in the lovely bedroom with doors onto the deck and garden. A great breakfast - feltlike VIPs - loved it - memorable.

This is a peaceful, relaxing, green oasis close to all city life and attractions. Roseanne and Ian are charming and friendly hosts. The loft is spacious, comfortable and private when needed and the breakfasts are really special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This stay is true luxury ! The unit is wonderful and full of the comforts of home plus some. Hosts are friendly and helpfull. We stayed during the winter months for 2 nights but could have stay more. If you are looking for a place to set back and unwind this is the place for you.

Wonderful accommodation with impressive attention to small and large details. Delicious breakfast provisions to enjoy while taking in the fabulous views from the large windows throughout. We have been in many places around the world and for the price this was really special.
