Our home is situated on a hill with expansive views overlooking the sea, city and rural wine and citrus region. 3 bedrooms have a sea view. We can actually accommodate 5 people if they are in the same group. We are 14 kms south of the city. Gisborne has beautiful beaches, scenic walks, resturants, cafes, excellent sport facilities and many other local attractions. We have 2 friendly sheepdogs and 2 elusive bengal cats.

Our kids just loved this place, they fed the chickens, played with the dogs and even tried to catch some sheep! And breakfast was of course 10 times better than at home. Kay & Don are wonderful hosts and their B&B is situated in a very lovely and peaceful surrounding.

As regular visitors to the Gisborne area, we previously stayed in Motels, until we discovered "Fairlight" which is now our first port of call. Convivial hosts, luxurious beds, fluffy towels, views to take your breath away, and all within a few minutes drive to the city ! The warmth of Kay and Don's welcome is tangible and satisfaction assured. Make sure you place "Fairlight" on your list of things to do when in Gisborne. Enjoy the experience.
