Pure pleasure - No other words needed. Definately the best we have stayed in during 16 nights in NZ.

A lovely spot and great hosts. We only had the one night there, but it was really a memorable stop on our trip. The hospitality was warm, the meals delicious and the views amazing.

We stayed with Lorraine and Bill for just one night but we wished it was many more. They are great people and this beautiful house is in a truly fantastic location - probably the best views of our whole stay in NZ. Their recommendations about what to do while up there were also spot on, especially the Driving Creek Railway! Thanks, Muirs, for a really exceptional and comfortable stay, a fantastic breakfast, and the friendly attentions of the splendid Fitz. Jean and Neville Young, Chichester & London, UK.

Two disappointments: 1) We have to leave 2) It is the other side of the world

Our only regret was that we did not allow ourselves more time to spend at this delightful Lodge. We could not fault any aspect of our experience here. The best B&B we have had in 2 visits to NZ which included both Islands each time.

My wife Inger and I came from Denmark in February on a 3 night stay at the Kuaotunu Bay Lodge. Meeting Bill and Lorraine at this wonderfull place was one of our biggest experiences ever. Fantastic hospitality and an outstanding place to stay coming to Coromandel. We look forward to see it/them again. Best regards Inger and Per Nielsen Per@trompet.com

A really super place. While we were there (twice) we saw dolphins and orca in the bay. Lorraine and Bill are the perfect hosts and serve wonderful food that you can eat on the deck with the sound of the surf breaking on the beach for background music.

First class from beginning to end. So much so that after our first visit we found ourselves returning less than a year later.! Bill & Lorraine Muir are outstanding hosts and the location so close to the beach/sea is second to none.
