We offer a friendly restful smoke-free stay in our modern home and garden. Waihi is the gate way to both the Coromandel and the Bay of Plenty with its beautiful beaches.Waihi is a historic town with a vintage railway and a working gold mine discovered 1878 closed 1952. Reopened in 1989 as a open-cast mine.Beach 10 minutes away, beautiful walks, golf courses, trout fishing. Enjoy a home cooked meal or sample our restaurants. Our interests are gardening, dancing and travel.

During our holiday we had a very pleasant stay at Josie and Merv's. We might stay again, if we should be in Waihi during our next holiday.

The house & surrounds were spotlessly clean and tidy. Meals were beautifully cooked and consideration was given to my diabetic condition. I sincerely hope I am able to stay with Josie & Merv when I return to Waihi in Sept 2004.
