What a peaceful place to spend a weekend! Waihi and Karangahake have much to offer and so does Dragonfly Garden.

After a trip through New Zealand starting in Christchurch through to Auckland Seeing family and friends which I have not seen for some time I found a little B&B in Waihi to give me time out away from commitment Loved the gardens and the animals especially ROCO (the Dog) Room was warm and cosy and I loved the Dragon flies on the Bed spread , Glasses and Pillow cases Room was very clean and tidy bathroom shower was fabulous Carla Bernstein Australia

I couldn’t think of a better place to be caught in a storm (Sorry Kathy/Bert about the big tree you lost). There is nothing more soothing about listening to rain on the roof and snuggled up to your wife on your 10th year anniversary The experience was something we will treasure for a long time to come The accommodation was as good as where we had come from “Chateau Tongariro” on mount Ruapehu. Loved the Dragonfly Touch around the room I didn’t even mind the peacocks on the roof the next morning My recommendation to all that are to follow this was the worst time of the year so it can only get better Ted Cogger Brisbane Australia
