At the Green House Bed & Breakfast accommodation you can forget the car while you wander into our exquisite historic Coromandel town. It only takes 5 minutes and you’re ready to browse the quality shops and art & craft galleries. Perhaps take the weight off and enjoy dining out in one of our superb restaurants or cafes. Then return to watch a spectacular sunset over the bay. If you are an early riser, you may be lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunrise over the bush-clad ranges.
Denise and I pride ourselves on providing a really warm welcome, home from home hospitality and sumptuous breakfasts. We will ensure you get the most out of your time on the Coromandel Peninsula and are happy to book activities for you.
Our upper floor is a dedicated guest area. Between the en-suite double bedrooms is a well equipped, comfortable lounge with stunning views. There is a third en-suite bedroom (Queen) on the ground floor (particularly suitable if you have difficulty with stairs).
Coromandel Township is a great place for a two or three day stay to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, renowned for its scenic coastal route, magnificent beaches, bush walks, art trails and historic gold mining sites. Its many attractions such as the famous Driving Creek Railway, Waiau Waterworks, the Gold Stamper Battery, the Mining Museum and the stunning Coromandel Walkway compliment the many bush walks and beautiful beaches including the world famous "New Chums Beach". Day trips to popular east coast beaches including Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove with their stunning white sandy beaches are extremely popular. Alternatively, for the more energetic, why not try Sky-Diving, Sailing, Kayaking, Fishing, Paint-balling etc. There are far too many to mention!!
