Our seaside retreat is the ideal place to relax and unwind. The village atmosphere has the quaintness of days gone by, but is not yet spoilt by today's hectic pace of living. Laze on the sun-drenched deck with a good book or take a 5 minute stroll to the beach. Imagine sipping wine under the stars in the outdoor bath, while listening to the ocean nearby.

The 1 bedroom unit (queen bed) also has a double sofa bed in the open plan lounge area and is fully self-contained with kitchen and washing machine. Linen and towels are supplied and breakfast options are available by arrangement.

Woodend Beach is located 30 mins. north of Christchurch (10 mins from Kaiapoi and Rangiora) and is one of "Canterbury's best kept secrets." Take a walk through the pine forests, enjoy the coastline of sandy dunes or just soak up the seaside atmosphere on the beach. There are a great variety of excellent cafes, restaurants and vineyards in close proxmimity and during the summer you can experience the best ever coffee and lunch at the beach cafe.. It's all here so come treat yourself.....
