Our spacious family home on Kaikoura Peninsula has splendid mountain and sea views and is exceptionally quiet. Only 5 minutes from the Kaikoura township, off the main highway south. The house nestles in an acre of colourful garden and there is plenty of off-street parking. A guest lounge is available or you are more than welcome to socialise with the host. Laundry facilities and tea/coffee with home-made baking available. There is a solar heated swimming pool for guests use. Traditional breakfast with home-baked bread, muesli, home preserves, available early as required for whale/dolphin watching guests. Enjoy breakfast in the dining area or out on the sunny deck whilst taking in the magnificent mountain view. We book local activities and happily meet bus or train. Margaret, your friendly host, has lived in the area for most of her life. She has a grown family of 4, and 7 grandchildren. Margaret enjoys gardening, bowls, sewing and choir.
