Hi, I have stayed at Thistle many times and always find it the best place to stay. Thistle is near to everything you could want. Theres off street parking, a bus stop at gate. The house is well heated in the winter time, so it really nice and warm. Room 1 and Room 9 are the best, while room 9 has a huge bed and room for kids. And room 1 has a bathroom. After a long journey from the UK an excellent place to chill out & start the holiday. Your own kitchen means you can do things in your own time. A big help. Excellent hosts!

We used Designer Cottage as a base whilst in the South Island, we stayed for 4 nights in total as it was such a great place to stay. Great hosts, spacious bedrooms, comfy beds and a good breakfasts.
