We are a retired couple who have travelled overseas and in New Zealand and love sharing experiences. We provide a friendly stay in our warm comfortable modern home with an opportunity for travellers to meet New Zealanders. Our two elderly pets live outdoors. Join us for a chat in our large lounge or in our pleasant garden. Five minutes from Lake Hood. One hour south of Christchurch International Airport. Near all sports venues and Lake Hood.30 mins to Mt Hutt Village/Methven.

We have been to many places and travelled a lot in New Zealand and nowhere did we get such a warm welcome as we did in the Welcome Inn! Extreemly clean, good price, comfortable, excellent breakfast and very friendly owners. Thank you!

We were delighted with our stay at Bruce and Betty Arnst's bed and breakfast in Ashburton on the night of February 19, 2005. They were delightful hosts, friendly and interested, but not intrusive. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and they served a wonderful meal in the morning.
