Our drive goes off SH1 and so we are conveniently en route to and from the Interisland Ferry. We are just 48km north of Christchurch and 100km south of the Kaikoura whales, and easy to find. The house is surrounded by an English style garden and close to the Waipara wineries, beach and attractive golf course. We have travelled extensively and lived overseas, and now share our lives with a newfoundland dog and Flatface the cat!

A very welcome reception, with tea and coffee beside a lovely log fire. A most enjoyable evening, still by the fire, with diverse subjects discussed with the hosts. A superb breakfast that lasted us all day!
