Our home is situated 1.5km up Takamatua Valley and 5km from Akaroa. We farm sheep, cattle deer and usually have a menagerie of orphaned pets etc. Our interests include golf and bridge. We invite you to enjoy some good old fashioned country hospitality. A trip to the Akaroa Seal Colony, which featured on the TV programmes A Flying Visit,Totally Wild and The Great Outdoors,is a must do. Safari includes a scenic drive, through, a working farm, with the farmer.

Outstanding! Despite recovering from food poisening I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here with my Father in November 06. Hanne and Paul were a delight to spend time with and be looked after by. We felt totally relaxed and at home. Their farm is beautiful, and the dinner we shared with the family was delicious. Its good to know where your food comes from and Paul and Hanne could tell us all about the rearing of their animals and their ethics compared to other farmers means of delivering meat. oh and the beds were reeeally comforatble! Beautiful, fun, friendly and relaxing - Thank you!
