Minarapa, our extensive country retreat, 12 minutes from Taupo, is within easy reach of Orakei Korako, Huka Falls and other tourist attractions including Waitomo Caves, Here you may wander among colourful tree-sheltered gardens, play tennis, billiards, or ball with Toby the dog, cross the pond and stream to visit our friendly farm animals or relaxon the loggia and listen to the bird song. Downstairs enjoy our large guest lounge/billiard room and lounge.
Upstairs, retire to one of the spacious,well-appointed guest rooms.
Choose from: The Garden Wing - a private wing comprising large
queen room with balcony and TV, large interconnecting bathroom and on the other side of the bathroom a smaller twin room. Decorated in warm tones of
cream and peach, each bedroom can be reserved individually as an ensuite room, or the entire wing can accommodate a family or group travelling
together.
The Green Room - a favourite among guests, this sunny twin/king room
decorated with rustic charm features a balcony from which you can overlook
the lovely garden or enjoy spectacular sunsets.
The Provencal Room - This queen bedroom, decorated in French provencal
style with charming fireplace and blue and cream colour scheme, has
exclusive use of a large bathroom with combined bath/shower.
All rooms have tea/coffee facilties.
