This B & B is the best I have been too. The hospitality from the hosts was terrific and friendly. They were very obliging to book our tourist attractions. Central location was tops! 2 minutes walk to central city but nestled into a quiet side street for tranquility. Breakfast was so well presented. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone.

We were wary about staying at a BnB as we were used to hotels but our worries were totally unfounded. Lovely self contained room, hearty breakfast, incredibly entertaining hosts with numerous local tips, so close to city centre and smoke free!! Will definately come back again!!!

Just some excellent feedback regarding the superb value for money I got staying at the Tresco B and B in Rotorua. I stayed 3 nights and received first class treatment -- very hospitable clean, comfortable, and friendly. Every effort was made to make my stay enjoyable. The personal touch regarding individual needs of all guests staying there was clear and impressive. I frequently stay in B and Bs on my travels at home in the UK and abroad. Without doubt Tresco B and B is the best I`ve ever experienced. Congratulations New Zealand.

In August of last year I found Tresco B&B. Tresco is a family home owned and hosted by Trevor and Trinka. Apart for the location, real mineral pool, thermal central heating, new modern facilities and cleanliness, the hosts go way beyond one?s expectations, in helping, caring for guests, and promoting Rotorua and New Zealand. Trevor and Trinka are very ?Green? conscious and have been recognized as such, being part of the Rotorua Sustainable Charter. Their interaction with myself and all the guests that I have had the pleasure to meet on my several stays is the reason I write. Add to this their respect for one?s privacy and their sensitivity to all guests/nationalities, and you truly have a United Nations, New Zealand, HQ. I should point out that their Visitors Book [voluntary] is full of very positive comments, some guests having written several lines of positive feedback (and one case, an entire page). Trevor and Trinka provide a breakfast second to none, and it is gratifying to me to see them open 3 more Trescos, in New Zealand, under the Tresco New Zealand banner. A bonus would be for them to establish Tresco in Australia. I commend Tresco B&B to you as a home away from home.

I cannot speak too highly about this B & B. Our party of four (adults) were made to feel very welcome. The hospitality is second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay with Trevor and Trinka and plan to stay there again next year. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone. It was very good value for money.

Gwyn and John have made my parents stay in Rotorua very confortable. They picked them up and brought them back to the bus stop, they organized their sightseeing activities and prepared for them fabulous breakfasts, they tried to have a chat with them over the dictionnary as their English was as poor as their French! They made sure everything was going well during their stay in Rotorua. Highly recommended. 		(none)

Only one to provide laundry facilities.

One of only 2 we stayed in to provide place to eat takeaways (we cant all afford to eat out every night).

Only one with a proper hand basin. Others were all dolls size so we couldn't even wash our daily "smalls" in them and had to press our heads against the wall to clean our teeth over them. 		(none)

My newly wedded wife and I spent a great 2 days at Tresco B&B in Rotorua and had the most wonderful hosts. John and Gwyn picked us up from the airport, took us on the scenic route back to the B&B, and gave us a nice tour of their town. We were there in the second week of October 2001 and sat in the dining room after supper having tea while sharing great conversation with our hosts. They are new owners of a pre established B&B and we could clearly see how much effort they have put into this home. I will say that our return trip will include visiting our friends at Tresco and our recommendations will be given to our families and anyone who wishes to visit this part of New Zealand. Did I forget to mention that Gwyn also took us to the airport for our early morning flight to Wellington. John and Gwyn made us feel so much at home that we know why they have such a close relationship with their children and grandchildren and why their home will become a successful Bed and Breakfast.
