This is second time we are writing about this lovely spot on earth but as we can see the message did not come through. We spent dec - jan 2006-07 and enjoyed every minute, dispite of the weather... Perfect base for examining Bay of Plenty and Coromandel. Wonderful hosts for communication. Thank you Lynlie and Rick!

A really nice and friendly place to stay when examining the surroundings of this paradise on earth. The atmosphere is like being at home with the two kindest hosts as additional servants. A highly recommended place! Thanks Lynlie and Rick

Many thanks for the use of your lovely farm cottage, with fantastic views, while in the Bay of Plenty and Coromandel areas over the last 3 and 1/2 months. We loved the peace and quiet and your hospitality, also the free range eggs.

23 to 26 February 2006. A very quiet, peaceful and lovely setting. Very relaxing looking at the beautiful scenery. Our hosts provided perfect accommodation and were a delightful couple. We had many entertaining conversations. It did make us feel lazy watching Rick slaving away with his Machinery and Lynlie looking after her bovine family. Thank you very much. It has truly been a delight to bird watch from the Chalet, the fantails dancing in the air, the tui dashing to feed their young, with the rosellas doing a colourful fly-past and the occasional pheasant strutting by, the pukekos and many finches too. Its a very busy world out there! Not to forget the chooks either - very tasty eggs! Janet and Allan from Llandudno, North Wales.

We really enjoyed our stay a Fallowfield Cottage. Cosy & comfy, clean and very well appointed. On the foothills of the beautiful Kaimai's, great tramping, and close to the seaside, the best of both worlds. What could be better. Thanks Lynlie & Rick for sharing your 'slice of heaven' with us.

Hospitality and accommodation just as good as on previous occasions and as good as the best of the 20 or so B&Bs we have stayed at during our 4 visits since 1996

Great place, wish we could stay longer than 2 nights. Even enjoyed Lynlie and Ricks chats, don't dare ask if they were pleased to see us. Thanks for the washings and extras not included. If you are in England please come to us if you can put up with Derek. A lovely and relaxing holiday. Thanks a lot.

Only a short stay, but a lovely one - and a special "Thank You" to Lynlie, who went above and beyond the call of (a host's) duty in entertaining 3yr old Hannah with the animals

From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. There were fresh flowers in our rooms, the children helped to feed the animals. The rooms were of the highest standard and the breakfasts were wonderful, again thetable was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers. We couldn't recommend Jacaranda Cottage more highly.

What a wonderful time we had at Jacaranda Cottage. We all wish we could have stayed longer, and keep watching the video over and over, already. The holiday flew by, and we had such a wonderful time in NZ that I don't think it will be 26 years before we have another holiday!
The cottage was just lovely, with such peaceful views, and so convenient for everywhere. Rose thoroughly enjoyed milking Jenny and I know she would like to return one day. We took a real shine to Jack and Jenny and kept seeing them on our travels further north! Thank you once again for such an enjoyable stay, especially our visit to see the glow-worms!

Second visit with these wonderful people. As always everything was wonderful. Lynlie & Rick are very knowledgable about NZ and the local area which enabled us to really see the area avoiding the traditional tourist things. We enjoy seeing the natural beauty of the area we are visiting.

One of the highlights of my visit to New Zealand. I enjoyed the chance to be invited into a home and made to feel like family. I can't wait to come back for my 2nd visit to New Zealand and my 2nd visit to the Watson home. Thank you so very much.

Dear Lynlie, dear Rick; we would like to thank you so much for your hospitality. We really enjoyed your company as well as Shadows, Lightnings, Jenny and Calf, Alaska, and the hens (not named yet). Armin will always dream of your garage, which nearly had anything a handyman could think of. Thanks again. Armin & Andrea from Munich, Germany.

Of course the beauty of the land and the pleasant weather are obvious. The memories will be of the heart warming stories over breakfast and in the evenings before turning in. Thanks so much for all of this.
