Hammond House is an elegant modern Tudor style home set in 7 acres of gardens, trees and a kiwifruit orchard, through which you are welcome to stroll. We offer guests accommodation in a double storey cottage located only a few metres from the Homestead. The cottage has a queen size French bed downstairs and upstairs two single beds, a bathroom and kitchenette. All beds have electric blankets and feather duvets. Television and gas heating are provided. Guests can relax on the cottage balcony, read the latest magazines and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and port in a setting of peace and tranquillity. Your breakfasts is served in the conservatory of the homestead a t a time convenient to you and may feature fruit juice, fresh fruit, home made bread, yoghurt and a variety of cooked dishes with eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausages and hash browns. Hammond House is just 2 km from SH2 and Katikati the town of murals. On a direct route between the Coromandel Peninsula and Rotorua. We are 30 minutes to Tauranga and 2 hours to Auckland and the Airport. Activities in the area include ocean beaches, golf, bird gardens, native bush walks, mineral springs and a selection of restaurants. We have a Golden Cairn Terrier "Molly" and two Burmese cats brothers "Harvard" and "Eton". Late check-outs can be arranged depending on forward bookings. We look forward to meeting you.
