Barbara and John will make you feel very welcome in their lovely one bedroom self-contained suite. Although a bit hard to find, the location is beautiful and well worth the trouble. Breakfast was great. Hope to return some day.

We love this place and have had a return visit every winter, since moving to Auckland. It is lovely and quiet, a perfect location to the local attractions and Barbara has always been very friendly and helpful with providing a gluten free breakfast for me.

We've stayed in some shocking places in NZ but this was the total opposite. If you've got kids, they'll love the space around the "unit". A truely wonderful, private setting, acres of grounds in a beautiful setting matching beach, bush, birdlife altogether. Every little detail to make your stay easier is there - including the milo. A very ample breakfast combined with very friendly, helpful hosts. A great find.

A great place to stay - we're hoping to go back for our third visit. Very friendly hosts, great breakfast - catered for my gluten free dietary requirement. Quiet, clean and great location for exploring the local area! Real value for money.
