We pride ourselves on providing a very relaxed & homely atmosphere with Maralyn preparing great food for our informal hosted dinners. The location just north of Auckland is also exceptional, but as our guests kindly tell us, it's that extra piece of personal magic which makes The Ridge experience something very special.

Built in 2001 this exclusive lodge lets you as one of our 6 guests indulge yourself in a very informal relaxed atmosphere, all set in a spectacularly beautiful setting - enjoy a romantic stay for two or an exclusive party for six.
Breakfast and dinner is taken together with our other guests and ourselves, either in the dining area or on the spacious dining deck, this very informal and relaxed style is very much a part of our personalised hospitality.
The Ridge is the ideal place to stay when you arrive in New Zealand being only 45 minutes north of Auckland, vineyards, galleries, beaches, we have loads of things to see and do in the area spend a few days with us and just relax, summer or winter it’s a great location!
