What a great way to end our lovely trip to NZ. The lodge was a perfect hopping-off place for us, and such gracious hosts! We felt so at home and breakfasts were delicious with "homemade everything! We can still see the sunset on the Firth and the moonglow over the water. 05 May 2006

What a find! We had been travelling around for nearly a week, before visiting our daughter and family in Kaitaia. This turned out to be the most memorable overnight stay. Excellent facilities and a welcome second to none. We will definitely revisit next time we are in NZ.

Stayed here our first night in NZ and just had to return for the last 4 nights of our honeymoon! Wonderful place, glorious views, fabulous fish breakfasts and what a fantastic couple of hosts. And they haven't got rid of us yet--we'll be back!

You're in for a real treat! Fran & Denis represent the VERY best that NZ has to offer --warmth,laughter,friendship and professionalism. We leave Kaiaua Lodge two happier people. Hilton & Hyatt, move over because this is what real Kiwi five-star hospitality is all about!
