Ducks Crossing Cottage is a 15 minute walk to the pretty village of Devonport. Positioned in a quiet location, Peter & Gwenda can be justly proud of their superb b&b which not only offers comfy beds and delicious breakfasts in a home away from home environment, but has the added advantage of two absolutely wonderful hosts who go to the nth degree to ensure your stay with them is perfect and one to remember. It would be very difficult to find another b&b that offers the same level of service, conversation, kindness and generosity that exists at Ducks Crossing. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Breakfast was the best we experienced in all our travelling of the North island. We were being catered for by a gourmet chef! Hospitality and local sight-seeing advice were excellent. Our accomodation was very comfortable and private. We highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates quality food and a good yarn.

We could not have started and ended our N.Z. vacation at a better B & B. Gwenda and Peter must be the most delightful and thoughtful hosts in N.Z. We stayed with Gwenda & Peter from Mar 27-29th/06 incl and have to say they are among the top five we have ever used. Absolutely delightful people and would highly recommend their homestay.

A very pleasant stay with most hospitable hosts. Superb grounds/gardens with lovely peaceful atmosphere. Gwenda and Peter went out of their way to go the extra mile and in all our years of travelling far and wide, the breakfast they served was absolutely superb!

Ducks Crossing is a wonderful place to stay. It is excellent value, and your hosts, Gwenda and Peter are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming.
