Casa El Naranjo is a restored, old Andalucian house. It is situated in the Barriada Las Mellizas about 10 minutes from a picturesque Andalucian village called Álora.
Formerly part of the house used to be a Bank and another part an ‘Almacen’ (store).

Casa El Naranjo offers different kinds of accomodations. There are 2 spacious Bed and Breakfast rooms with a lounge and a terrace. In the summer you can enjoy breakfast on the terrace and on colder days in the lounge near the warm woodstove. Furthermore there are 3 appartments and 2 studios.
The back of the building opens up to a large area with a swimming pool and different terraces surrounded by lovely meditarenean plants and flowers. Guests can sit by the pool, having a drink, whilst enjoying the vista of citrus trees, lie in the hammock, gently swaying in the breeze or go for a refreshing swim in the pool.

Casa El Naranjo is a perfect place for people who like a nice, relaxing holiday, soaking up the surrounding nature and enjoying the culture the area has to offer.
It is a good place for families with children, couples or groups with a specific goal, for instance to play bridge, meditate, teambuilding, cooking class, a family reunion, creative activities etc.

In 2006 we, Erica and Rik de Groot and our young sons, Jochem en Jelle, decided to move to Spain.
After years of working in Healthcare we wanted to do something else. We wanted to continue working with people however, so therefore decided to start a business in tourism. We bought our Andalucian house and converted it into a B&B and appartments/studios.
