Bluehill is a working dairy farm. We farm 180 Holsteins. It sits surrounded by fields with distant views of the Solway Firth towards the Lake District hills. It is equidistant (10 miles) from the main towns of Castle Douglas and Kirkcudbright. It is ideally positioned to enjoy the south west of Scotland. With local hill, cliff and forest walks nearby. The area has many outdoor activities such as horse riding. mountain biking, sailing, golf, fishing etc. Many return to the area for its quiet roads and relaxed pace of life.
