HI, I AM MATA AND I AM THE OWNER OF A BED & BREAKFAST, IF YOU NEED A SHORT TERM ROOM WHILE YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A LONGER TERM ROOM THIS COULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR YOU Known as the “Blue Guesthouse” for its colours, our B&B is located in a young though definitely safe area of the city, very close to the University Politecnico of Milan (citta' studi). 100 metres away from Lambrate underground station( M2 - green line) , the B&B enjoys a strategic position for visiting the city centre, easily accessible in a few minutes. Besides being an underground station, Lambrate is also an important railway station, not mentioning the wide range of surface transport stopping in the whereabouts. You can easily reach it both from the Central Railway Station by underground ( 4 stops), and from the airports of Linate, Orio al Serio and Malpensa, by shuttle or by bus stopping in front of the station. With its Lambro Park and Idroscalo, this is a green area, rich in bars, pubs and beer-houses: the famous ancient Birrificio di Lambrate (Lambrate Brewery) is very close, so you can taste our local handicraft beer! The B&B is on the first floor of a block of flats with lift and doorman. The atmosphere is friendly and easy-going. The triple rooms (occasionally double or single) are provided with TV, DVD player, air conditioner, heating, towels, hairdryer, alarm clock. A mini-bar and a kitchen are also available. I have stayed at the Cantinone three times with friends and family and love it there. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the house is warm and spacious with lots of extras (awesome swimming pool!!!) and a jacuzi. The Cupramontana area is beautiful with lovely towns and scenery. There are all sorts of restaurants and cafes. The hosts know all the lovely places to eat. I highly recommend the Cantinone.

We stayed at this B&B in Le Marche and had a wonderful time. The accomodation was excellent and the breakfasts first class. The pool is a good size with plenty of room around for chairs and sunbeds. The owners were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome and also plenty of ideas for visits and restaurants in the area.

When my boyfriend and I arrived at ISH, first of all we discovered ISH meant "International Student House". ( How romantic...), that it wasn't a romantic B&B as showed on the website but a dirty hostel Then we showed our reservation to the man at the reception who asked us 90€ and pretended we have only booked but not paid !! The owner of the hostel even dared to tell me I was a liar ! We lost 2 hours and 2 long phone calls to the USA to solve the problem (we had booked on a website which was based in the usa). Of course we had to call from our French mobile ... In fact there was no room left for us and they brought us at an old lady's who owns a B&B, the room was dirty, just like the bathroom. They did not even discount the price for the prejudice ! RUDE PEOPLE, DIRTY HOSTEL AVOID IT !
