Our B & B is welcoming, intimate family run establlishment situated on the outskirts of an old "market town" called Newcastle West - best known for its outstanding Mineral Water called" Ballygowan Spring/Sparkling", which is bottled and sold throughout the Globe. We have a pretty garden at the front and rear of our home where you are welcome to sit outside - weather permitting of course and enjoy a cool drink if desired. All our bedrooms are painted in pastel colours, e.g. Pink, Lemon, & Peach, with comfortable Beds, Wardrobes, & Lockers. T.V. in Rooms also. Our Dining Room has a communal table where you can chat at Breakfast with other guests. On arrival Tea/Coffee is served by the host - Nuala. There is also lots of Car Parking Space at the front, side or rear of house. We have a dog called "Judy" who enjoyes all the attention from the Guests. Our B & B is easily reached if you are coming from Shannon Airport or Kerry Airport and is approx. half-way between Cork, Kerry, or travelling the Mid-West. There is a Shop/Petrol Station - called "Daybreak" with facilities for Tea/Coffee and Lunch situated quite close to our house - so you will never go hungry. Outside our home there is a large Sign written in Gaelic which reads as follows:- " Go nEiri Do Bhothar Leat" = which means May the road rise to meet you. This is a Good Luck Sign and you will probably see quite a few of these on your trip around Ireland. Twice a week a "Market" is held selling fresh vegetables, fruit, etc in the main Town Square. This is a good meeting place and you can explore the town with its fine Shops, Restaurants, and not forgetting a tour of the Castle which is just off the main Town Square.
