Aveland House  - Reviewed by Pearce
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions with my husband and also with my two teenage children. The accomodation is very good spotlessly clean all bedrooms en suite with tea/coffee making facilities. There are two lounges both with tv and dvd. There is a lovely bar where we have spent many a cosy night after having a lovely walk to the nearby downs. The food here is exceptional the breakfast consists of a choice of cereals fresh fruit croissonts then a full english followed by tea or coffee and toast. The hotel is situated in babbacombe which is just a short walk to the model village, the downs, oddicombe beach with the cliff railway ,St Marychurch. There is plenty of parking space which is nice as we were able to leave the car in the car park and if we did go out didnt have to worry about getting a place to park on our return. The owners Jacqui and Dave were very friendly nothing was to much trouble they were always willing to help us either with directions or giving us ideas of places to visit. I would recommend this hotel to single people, couples and families as it is centrally located near to all major roads which is great for travelling out of torquay as you dont get caught up in the town traffic.

Canon Grange  - Reviewed by Dee
A beautiful homely B&B, had a double room overlooking the historic Wells Cathedral, mindblowing view transporting one back in time, loved the ambience of Wells and Canon Grange, our wonderful hosts Annette and Ken made us feel right at home and the "Full English" breakfast was out of this world and kept us going all day. Lovely and friendly with nice personal touchs, would highly recommend this B&B and hope to return, thanks for making our visit a truly memorable one!

Acorns Guest House  - Reviewed by JohnNEssex
The Acorne Guest House is situated very close to the town and beach. The rooms are very clean and well maintained with neutral decor. They have 8 rooms with a large car park at the rear of the hotel which is a premium at this location. Although they do arrange to cook evening meals, we did not try this. At breakfast you have a good choice and I have to say that the full English is probably one of the best that I have had, that's even including 4* Star hotels visited. Jacqui and Iain Lockwood who own the guest house are very friendly and do everthing to ensure that your stay is good. Iain gave us plenty of advise on where to go and beautiful country road trips. We went in August during the Combe Martin carnival which is well worth going to. If you want a good central location which has good facilities and clean, this is a must to visit
