With guest-selected breakfasts, freshly prepared picnic or walker’s lunches, fresh flowers in the well-appointed bedrooms, and the warmest of welcomes, Joe and Maria treat guests who come to Moor House as very special friends.

Transport from the Newquay airport or the Truro, Redruth or Camborne stations can be arranged, as can luggage transfer for walkers. Please enquire for fees.

Close proximity to the South West Coastal Path makes Moor House the ideal stop for hikers, bird-watchers, garden enthusiasts and cyclists. Other areas of magical Cornish beauty such as St. Ives, Truro, Godrevy, Port Isaac, Newquay, Falmouth,St. Mawes, Penzance, the Eden Project, Helston and the Lizard are an short, pleasant drive from Moor House. The Eden Project and many National Trust properties are an easy hour's drive from Moor House.

Places featured in many movies and television programs,
such as Poldark, Doc Martin, Pirates of the Caribbean and those made from the books of Rosamunde Pilcher and Daphne DuMaurier are all near Moor House.

Excellent, welcoming pubs, shops and restaurants are a three minute walk away. Guests may leave cars or cycles at Moor House while enjoying a day at the beach or dining in Portreath.

Discounted rates are available for stays six nights and over as well as monthly rates based on four or seven night per week stays. Breakfast and laundry service are included in monthly tariffs.
