The guest house is in a residential area of Launceston with superb views of Launceston castle and surrounding countryside. A 4 minute walk from the nearest pub restaurant, 10 minutes from the town square with its wide variety of shops and restaurants. 5 minutes from Launceston SteamRailway and Launceston Golf Course. Ideally located for guests exploring Devon & Cornwall, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Lands End, St Ives, Tintagel & Boscastle are all within easy distance, also the National Trust properties of Cotehele House, Lanhydrock House, Saltram House and Buckland Abbey.

Accommodation at Rose Cottage includes a hearty English Breakfast with locally produced succulent bacon, delicious sausages and free range eggs. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices are the healthy options available. All our guests including cyclists, walkers and runners, ‘End to Enders’ and those following the Tamar Trail and Two Castles trails are warmly welcomed. Secure cycle storage is available. The Two Castles Trail and the Tamar Valley Trail meet at Launceston. Guests are encouraged to relax with a book on our rose strewn patio with it fascinating views of Launceston.
