Carena House is a Victorian guest house built at the turn of the nineteenth century 1892, it still has many original features.
We are a small friendly house we offer comfortable en-suite rooms including toiletries, hair dryers, TVs, complimentary beverages with a selection of drinks and biscuits.
Fully central heated non smoking house. We provide a varied choice of breakfast, fruit cereals yoghurts, full English, continental, vegetarians, or any special diets will be catered for, early risers no problem, we start breakfast at 7 o'clock.
Free parking is available or we have secure parking on request, we have limited spaces, you can leave your car and walk into town, 10 minutes walk and you are in side the city wall, or the park and ride is just behind our guest house.
Canterbury is an ideal base to relax and explore the city which has many ancient ruins, or visit one of the museum steeped in history, or visit a castle, have a boat trip on the River Stour it will enable you to appreciate Canterbury's nooks and crannies as it passes through the gardens something you wouldn't see on foot.
Kent has an interesting coastline, Whitstable is famous for its oysters which they have an oyster festival every July, it is a very Quaint fishing town and has many interesting art galleries and shops. Broadstairs has lovely sandy beaches, it is unspoilt, a place worth a visit, there is many more seaside towns quite are unique very different from each other.
After a busy day sightseeing and shopping you can unwind in one of the many restaurants Canterbury has to offer what ever your taste there will be something to suit you.
