Breakfast is freshly prepared from a varied menu using the finest and where possible local ingredients and of course free range eggs. With stunning views and sunsets from the guest lounge or a very short and pleasant stroll down to the promenade. Morecambe itself offers historic buildings such as the newly restored 'Midland Hotel' and the refurbishment project 'Winter Gardens'. Of course you can not leave without having your picture taken at the 'Eric Morecambe Statue' the famous half of comedy double act 'Morecambe & Wise'. Keen cyclists and bird watchers are very welcome. Easily reached is the beautiful village of Heysham, Heysham ferry port with daily departure to Isle of Man & Ireland. Close by is Lancaster for sight seeing, shopping or pop in and soak up the history of Lancaster Castle that is still today a working court and prison. Just slightly further a field is Carnforth, famous rail station where Brief Encounter was filmed, still today set back in time, why not catch a Steam Train or visit the Brief Encounter refreshment room? We are the 'Gateway to the Lake District so you can find yourself there in no time and not forgetting the delightful Forest Of Bowland. We are minutes from good rail & motorway links. So whether its cycling, bird watching, walking, shopping or purely relaxing, why not book a holiday or break and let us spoil you?
We look forward to welcoming you
