Friendly welcome at non-smoking guest house half a mile north of Macclesfield, at Tytherington. Hearty full English breakfasts or lighter alternatives. All rooms have small en-suite shower room, colour TV, tea/coffee facilities, free wifi. A telephone is available for outgoing calls. Ample parking and gardens.

Prices (including full English breakfasts) are £65 for a double or twin room, £40 for single occupancy of a double or twin, £35 for a single, £78 for a triple. Three stars Visit Britain (guest accommodation). Runner-up in the Green B & B Award 2006.

Macclesfield is convenient for both businessmen and holiday-makers, being close to Jodrell Bank radio telescope, the Anson Engine museum, the Macclesfield Silk museum, Styal Mill, the Macclesfield canal ring, Teggs Nose Country Park, Pooles Cavern in Buxton and many lovely walks in the Peak District. There are also many "homes and gardens" to explore with about a ten mile radius: Gawsworth Hall, Capesthorne Hall, Adlington Hall, Tatton Park, Little Moreton Hall, Arley Hall etc etc.
