The Barns Country Guest House is a converted 18th Century hay and tractor barn featuring oak beams and excellent en-suite accommodation. All rooms are tastefully decorated and include a hospitality tray, plus remote control colour televisions. The breakfast room is spacious with individual tables and a small refrigerator is placed on the upstairs landing for guests to store their picnic supplies.
We're set in a peaceful, rural position just over 1 mile off the A1 and is an ideal spot to break a long journey between London and Edinburgh.
It also offers an opportunity to use as a base and explore the local countryside and visitor attractions such as Newark Antique Fairs, Clumber Park, the Hemswell Antique Centre, Sherwood Forest (the home of Robin Hood) and also see the area where the Pigrim Fathers formed their separatist church before setting sail for America.
Car parking is provided for all guests.
