The luxury Romantic Chateau Krasna Lipa built in 1886 is located in the very beautiful Unesco world heritage site called Czech Saxon Switzerland in the Czech Republic. This area is located at the West Czech, East German borders and is separated by the picturesque Elbe or (Labe) River.

We are a non-smoking adult only (no children under 12) luxury vacation getaway property at the top of a private drive/hill. Smokers are invited to stroll through our gardens, covered terraces or our main front entrance for their smoking pleasure.

The chateau will tingle your senses for the romantic with its towers and Romeo and Juliet style balconies. We have been told by our very happy guests that they feel like a King and Queen in a fairy tale castle and that their stay with us reminds them of the Castle Neuschwanstein. The area will intrigue nature lovers with its lush forests and fantastic rock formations with it’s clear water rivers, lakes and ponds, which are ideal for fly fishing (5 Star Rating), hiking and nature walks.

There are numerous all season activities that will inspire you, relax you and clear your mind while appreciating nature in all it's magnificence and glory. You can enjoy horseback riding, 5 star fly fishing, hiking, skiing, swimming, mountain climbing, golfing and sightseeing.

The large exquisite room interiors, historic 4.5 metre high ceilings, doors and trim of Romantic Chateau Krasna Lipa are designed to inspire a sense of time and place. The suites are beautifully furnished with antiques, hand carved furniture and Rococo oil paintings to add to your experience.

All suites are equipped with internet connection and telephone service. New large flat screen televisions are also provided for your viewing pleasure. All 8 luxury vacation suites have wonderful views of the dream like landscape that surrounds the Chateau.

Some suites have walkout terraces and historic antique ceramic furnaces. All suites have panoramic views of the gardens, forest or countryside.

We are located between the Czech towns of Rumburk and Varnsdorf which are only 10 minutes away by car, and only a 5 minute walk to the main town square in Krasna Lipa and we are close to all major roadways/highways.

There is a very large new tourist building in the main town square Krinicke Namesti that will impress you with it's exhibitions of the area, internet cafe, and it's many types of maps, brochures, souvenirs and scenic attractions of the area. Private tours can also be arranged.

The famous natural sandstone gate Pravcicka Brana(Prehbischtor) and Narodni National Park in Hrensko is only 15-20 minutes away by car. There are many activities in the area and we are nestled in and only 5-15 minutes away from fishing, hiking trails, horseback riding, bicycling, swimming, nature watching etc. Uphill and downhill skiing facilities are nearby and are only a 10-30 minute drive away.

Decin Palace and Gardens is approximately 20 minutes by car from Krasna Lipa.

Spa town services at nearby local towns is available by visiting Bad Schandau (20 minute drive) and Karlovy Vary

Restaurants - there are many good and reasonably priced local restaurants 10-20 minutes from the property by car

Krasna Lipa is located between the towns Varnsdorf and Rumburk in Czech Switzerland and is only 10 minutes in either direction from these main towns

Zittau, Seiffhennersdorf and Neugersdorf are German towns that are only a 10-20 minute drive from Krasna Lipa

There are several East German borders that are only 10 minutes away or approximately 18 km from Krasna Lipa. Dresden and Meissen Germany are very close and are approximately 45 km or a 3/4 hour car drive.

Prague with it's many restaurants, shopping, theatre and attractions is also very close and is only an approximate 1 1/2 - 2 hour rail or car drive.

By Car From Prague approximately 135 km: PRAGUE - MLADA BOLESLAV (route E65), in Mlada Boleslav turn to the direction Kosmonosy CESKÁ LÍPA (route 610) later NOVÝ BOR than left to SVOR and direct to Krasna Lipa - direction Rumburk.

From the local town square Krinicke Namesti in Krasna Lipa (we are only a 2 minute car drive or 5 minutes by foot) - turn onto the Road Kyjovska (directly beside the main Information Tourist Building) and follow it approximately 1/8 km up the road to a private driveway on the right hand side - Romantic Chateau Krasna Lipa (22 Kyjovska) is at the top of this private drive and it can be seen with it's 2 red roof towers from the main street below.

Check in time is from 13:00 daily - Please make arrangements with us if your check in time is later than 19:00. Check out time is 11:00 daily.

Late check ins'after 19:00 outside of our normal hours can be arranged - just let us know your estimated arrival time

Early check in's can be accommodated earlier than 13:00 if your room is available
