accueil chaleureux, demeure charmante, petits déjeuners et repas somptueux. tous les jours Graham nous a guidé dans nos visites tous les soirs il nous attendait avec le sourire, un verre et une douceur. notre séjour à été extra aussi et surtout grâce à shemesh villa. merci mille fois

For our three day bird and wild flower watching in the Larnaca area we chose to stay at Shemesh Villa because of it's scenic setting, tastefully built house and the promise of excellent food as explained on the web site. We were not disappointed. Grahame and Jenni welcomed us to share their Villa in a most pleasant, unassuming and helpful manner. We felt relaxed and part of the family. The house had an historical feeling. The cooking was unbelievably good and not to be missed. We would highly recommend Shemesh Villa as a quality base from which to explore the Larnaca area which is rich with wildlife at this time of the year. In our three days we noted approximately 90 species of bird. Thank you Grahame and Jenni for making our 3 days so special.

This is a gorgeous and very quaint house, which gave us a real feel for the culture and beauty of the island. The quiet location and roomy accomodation made our stay so relaxing and peaceful. The food was so amazing that we felt like we were at a gormet restaurant at every meal! The host and hostess were incredibly servant hearted, and really willing to go out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Even extensive directions and suggestions for our touring plans were provided. Absolutely a bargain and a wonderful experience!

I work in hospitality, so I can't help but go into evaluation mode when staying at a guest house. After spending four nights at Shemesh Villa, I feel like I've just attended a seminar on the art of service. The management couple create a warm, friendly environment without being over-attentive. I found it very easy to relax. The food is spectacular and carefully prepared. I found myself really looking forward to meal times. The house itself is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Everything felt clean and fresh. I highly recommend Shemesh Villa. You won't be disappointed.

We came to Cyprus last June to get married from Israel. It was our first time on the island and we have been welcomed by Grahame and Jenny. They have been such gorgeous hosts. We organised our wedding with their help without knowing them, just talking on the phone. Since the beginning, Grahame and Jenny made everything to offer us the happiness of this day. Villa Shemesh is a very peacefull place to stay, located on a small village, very quiet and the room was absolutely unforgettable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere so soft, so family. Our small family (couple with 2 small kids) was in need of timeout and a relaxing holiday! And with 2 little ones under 2 years it almost seems impossible to get timeout! But this place, this beautiful Shemesh Villa was the best stay we've ever had... anywhere! and we can honestly say the children have never been so relaxed! There is a strong feeling of peace in this place. Something we all long for! The food was delicious! Not to mention the coffee's! i'll have another one now please! Thank you again Grahame and Jenni for this unique and truly luxurious experience! yes, even with little ones!

Top B&B in Cyprus by far. From the easy booking, helpful service, to the luxurious bed and the magnificent dinners ... it was the best from start to finish. Grahame and Jenni are the most delightful hosts. The Village is so handy to all the tourist spots and they have every map and seem to know the island like the back of their hand. Worth every minute of our 7 day stay. Thanks again, all the best, we'll be back :-)

Little Lodge is one of the few places to stay where you can still experience the true Cyprus yet be close to everything, from the peace of the mountains, to Nicosia city life, to the beaches and water sports. I won't repeat the descriptions other reviewers have given here except to confirm that all the praise for the location, accommodation, service and wonderful friendliness of the owners, Elsa and Clive, are 100% accurate. Little Lodge provides a truly exceptional experience. Stay there and you won't ever want to stay in a resort hotel with the bucket and spade brigade again.

Our stay at the Little Lodge was extremely delightful. The location was wonderful, and the accommodation absolutely PERFECT, with a beautiful garden and pool to enjoy each day. Elsa was certainly the “Hostess with the Mostess” in the way she looked after us. We knew it was somewhere special when we arrived to find rose petals on our bed, and sugared almonds in a bowl beside the bed with lovely fresh roses. We had a guest kitchen to use, and Elsa even made us a carrot cake !!! It was our honeymoon, but what made it more than perfect was Elsa and her husband and their hospitality. We want to go again. Family run accommodation is very hit and miss, but not this one. Often there is too much contact with people you don't want to see. We could happily have spent numerous evenings with this charming couple. The whole place was divine, so beautifully decorated and created. We took so many photos to remember the ideas Elsa had executed so beautifully. We will now have our own TV outside, albeit in our new garden house as well as splashing out on a large canary palm in our own garden in Ireland. We think of Maroni every day when we look out of the window. The website pictures are very honest, though could be updated as it is even more fabulous.
