Woodbridge on the Derwent is Tasmania's only Small Luxury Hotel. Wonderfully located on the banks of the Derwent River, Woodbridge was convict-built in 1825, and restored by an Australian Award winning renovation, to become a beautiful boutique hotel. Its 18 guests can relax fireside in the Reading Room and the Ballroom, dine in the Pavilion, luxuriate in the sauna and hot-tub, or, for the more active, paddle our kayaks or cycle the valley on our complimentary bikes. The valley has wineries, gourmet produce, wildlife and wilderness, The local town is historically fascinating, and has 9 antique shops.
Woodbridge is only 25 minutes from the Hobart waterfront, and central to all of Southern Tasmania.
