For the history & theatre lover; unique “Brilliant” entertainment, by your hostess, a performance of 'Turn the Key of Time' about a cottage, a key and a convict in Grannie Rhodes' Cottage, on site 1830, a unique 50 minute experience of Tasmania’s history told through the story of Maria Wilby who came to join her convict father in 1827. Be “entranced and en-wrapped” in 200 years of history. The1830’s cottage is the stage at Richmond, southeast Tasmania a 30-minute drive northeast of Hobart (25 k). Owner actor, Miriam Cooper is Tasmanian Entrepreneur of the Year ’08 for this unusual project and her remarkable performance has won the business five awards.
