Billabong Bed and Breakfast is located at Holloway’s Beach which is one of the closest beaches to Cairns. While being in the middle of a private pristine natural environment you will still be minutes away from the city. From the B&B it is an easy walk to the local beach. Holloway’s Beach has three alfresco restaurants, a sporting club, basic shops and Cairns is only a 10 minute drive away; take the local SunBus which runs every hour or hire a car. Also, only 5 minutes by car to James Cook University. Tours to The Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage Listed Rainforest, amongst many other tours depart Holloway’s Beach daily so you get the same conveniences of staying in the city, but without the crowds.


There are two rooms at Billabong Bed and Breakfast both designed with the utmost comfort and taste in mind. Both bedrooms overlook the billabong and have private balconies and entrance ways, air-conditioning, a fridge, TV, ensuite and a large queen sized bed. Included in your room rate is your sumptuous tropical breakfast.
Two queen guest suites with contemporary décor include ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Your facilities include television,wireless internet, fridge, tea/coffee making and separate entrance. Large French doors open onto a private deck overlooking the Billabong featuring spectacular bird life.
