Farm Cottage is in a relaxing and tranquil garden located on our 1200 acre cattle breeding property. Cosy comfortable cottage with enclosed verandahs front and back, the perfect place to have your early morning cup of tea, watching the cows and calves graze on the hillside. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the garden whilst watching the busy little wrens and finches. Or have your breakfast supplies delivered to the cottage.
Plenty of beautiful bushwalks and birdlife, you may see kangaroos, deer or eagles, while the full size tennis court is available for the more strenuous guest. Children can help feed the calves, and ride on the truck to feed the cows.
At night the sky is alive with twinkling stars and the Milky Way.
There are wineries, antique shops, cafes, lavender farm and trout farm further afield.
Or locally try your hand at trout fishing or watch the platypus swimming under the old bridge in Bendemeer at dawn or dusk.
Provisions are available at the General Store in Bendemeer if you choose to cook, or treat yourself to a typical Aussie meal at the local pub. There is also a Post Office, petrol and craft shop in Bendemeer.
Whatever you do, you will leave relaxed, revitalised and invigorated by the fresh country air!
